Central Printing Recognized for "Milk Days" Poster

The Printing Industries of Wisconsin held their 6th Annual Graphics Excellence Awards Banquet at The Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee on Tuesday, May 9. In the Catagory of "Art Prints", Central Printing received top honor in the State of Wisconsin.

The winning entry, entitled "Cream of the Crop" was created by artist Stan Tunilowicz for the purpose of promoting Harvard Illinois' annual "Milk Days" event. What began as a "War Period" tribute to area farmers for their increased milk and food production in 1942, "Milk Days" has become an annual tradition in the area.

Central Printing received 16 total awards in the competition. The Delavan printer, which opened its doors in 1968, employs approximately 42 people in 2 facilities in Delavan. The company specializes in high quality commercial printing serving markets locally and nationwide.
